Philip Seymour Hoffman’s performance in Capote was brilliant. He didn’t make the voice sound silly, at least in my opinion. He made his character honest. I feel like this movie gave an honest portrayal of exactly what kind of man Truman Capote was. I will definitely be reading In Cold Blood some time in the future.
